Tax Payment Information

Real Estate Tax payments may be paid in two installments.  The tax statement will show your options.

1st Installment due on or before January 31 of each year.

By mail:  payable to the Town of Sumner Treasurer, Jennifer Harder, 1540 24 1/2 Street, Rice Lake WI 54868.

No receipts will be sent unless a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided.

On line payments: payments may be made online in December and January with a credit or debit card at our Point and Pay website. The link is in the letter mailed by the town in December. The link can also be found on the Barron County Tax Payment Information page. The link to that page is below.  For payment purposes, your account number is your parcel number listed on your tax bill.

2nd Installment is due on or before July 31 of each year.  It is payable to the Barron County Treasurer, 335 E Monroe Ave RM 2412, Barron WI 54812-1478.
